I always read many reviews before I buy a game.
Go to Metacritic, see the best, worst and average scores and read their corresponding reviews. I don't like wasting my money.
He is... Sorta right though. Mario might be good but it's nothing we've never seen -no- EXPERIENCED before. I see that the medium of games has a HUGE potential to provide the most diverse field of great experiences but that premise hasn't really been delivered yet.
I'd say they're relaying more on LOGIC than prejudism, conspiracies, fanboynism etc.
